Our Commitment: Our language learning apps for kids are designed with children's safety and privacy as the top priority. We do not collect personal data from children.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to all language learning applications for kids published by RBH / Clappy Yazilim ("we", "us", or "our") on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, including but not limited to:
- Italian For Kids
- German For Kids (Deutsch für Kinder)
- English For Kids
- French For Kids (Français pour Enfants)
- Spanish For Kids (Español para Niños)
- Turkish For Kids (Türkçe Öĝreniyorum)
We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users, especially children. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.
2. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)
Our apps are designed for children. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provisions regarding children, and Google Play Families Policy.
We do NOT:
- Collect personal information from children (no name, email, phone, address, or location)
- Require user registration or login
- Allow children to share personal information
- Use behavioral tracking or profiling of children
- Share any data with third parties for marketing purposes
3. Information We Collect
Our apps are designed to function without collecting personal data. However, certain non-personal technical information may be collected automatically:
- Device type and operating system version — to ensure app compatibility
- App version — to provide updates and fix bugs
- Crash reports — anonymous crash data to improve app stability
- Purchase status — subscription status is managed by Apple/Google, not stored on our servers
We do not collect names, email addresses, physical addresses, phone numbers, photos, GPS location, or any other personally identifiable information.
4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
Our apps offer optional premium subscriptions (monthly and yearly plans) that unlock additional learning content. All purchases are processed securely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store payment systems.
- We do not directly collect or store any payment information
- Subscription management (including cancellation and renewal) is handled entirely by Apple or Google
- Purchase confirmation dialogs include a parent verification gate (math question) to prevent unauthorized purchases by children
5. Advertising
Our apps may display advertisements to users who have not purchased a premium subscription. We use Google AdMob as our advertising provider.
Ads for Children:
- All ads shown in our apps comply with Google's Families Ads Program
- Ads are age-appropriate and do not contain inappropriate content
- We do not serve personalized or interest-based advertising to children
- No behavioral data is collected for advertising purposes
- Premium subscribers see no advertisements
6. Third-Party Services
Our apps use the following third-party services:
- RevenueCat — for subscription management. RevenueCat processes purchase data through Apple/Google and does not collect personal information from children. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
- Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements (non-premium users only). AdMob complies with COPPA and Google Families Policy when used in children's apps. Google Privacy Policy
- Apple App Store / Google Play Store — for app distribution and payment processing
We do not use analytics services, social media SDKs, or any other third-party tracking tools.
7. Data Storage & Security
All learning progress and app preferences are stored locally on the user's device only. We do not operate servers that store user data. No data is transmitted to external servers except for:
- Subscription verification (handled by Apple/Google/RevenueCat)
- Ad serving (handled by Google AdMob, non-premium users only)
- Anonymous crash reports (if enabled by the device operating system)
8. Parental Controls
Our apps include parental safeguards:
- Parent verification gate: A math question must be solved to access purchases, external links, and app reviews
- No external links accessible by children: All links to external websites require parent verification
- No social features: There is no chat, messaging, or user-generated content
9. Data Retention & Deletion
Since we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is no personal data to retain or delete. Local app data can be removed by:
- Uninstalling the app from the device
- Clearing the app's data through device settings
Subscription data managed by Apple or Google can be managed through the respective platform's account settings.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage parents and guardians to review this policy periodically.
